The Alzheimer’s Society

Just over two years ago my mother passed away, having suffered with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease for over ten years. It is a terrible thing to see happen to your parent and because of this I wanted to help other sufferers and their carers.

I had already begun planning a long distance road trip to Scandinavia and thought that this may be a vehicle to give some support to the Alzheimer’s Society.

It was my goal to reach the furthest point north on the European mainland, a small peninsula just north of North Cape. This peninsula is called Knivskjelodden and requires a 12 km walk from the nearest vehicle access.

So I decided to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society whilst attempting to teach my goal.

Every little helps and I would appreciate any contribution you can make.
